I've been involved in real estate investing in the KW area for over 25 years, from buying my own home in 1990 to owning and managing a number of investment units in the area. The buy & hold method has proven to be a strong strategy for me. During this time I have gained a lot of hands on knowledge, helping me to differentiate between quick fixes and real problems.I believe in continuous learning, and most of my continuing education over the last 10 years has focused heavily on real estate. From home inspection and property management courses to urban planning, real estate and community development is what drives me - with the exception of a bartending course, but I can make a fancy martini when called upon.
I've enjoyed being part of the transformation of KW from small town to major hub. And now, as the Greater Waterloo Area starts to show itself as a world class city, the opportunities seem to be endless.
Understanding clients needs and helping them to achieve those goals is what motivates me. More than just guiding clients I also want to educate. My approach is to put my clients first and do everything in my power to make your experience successful, enjoyable and fun. Ultimately, I don't feel as though I HAVE to trade in real estate, but rather I ENJOY connecting people with great opportunities.
With over 25 years investing in the KW real estate market, my portfolio includes everything from fully detached homes to townhomes to condos. I truly enjoy sharing the knowledge I have gained with others.
Having roots in small-town Newfoundland, and having spent my early adult years in the heart of Toronto, I've had the pleasure of meeting people from all walks of life. I believe this is what drives me to be in a highly people-oriented industry.
Meeting new people, forming new relationships, and constantly learning along the way - while providing the highest quality of service to both buyers and sellers - that's my passion.
