My Experience

I have always been devoted to customer service: from my first job as a waitress to my current career as a Realtor®. Since the 80’s when I was first introduced to computers, I have embraced technology. I am committed to serving my clients by continuing to embrace new technologies and be on the leading edge in my field.

Before I began my career in real estate, I partnered with Tom, first to raise our family of three girls and then to start his business in 1997. I was responsible for establishing operating procedures and executing the marketing strategy. In 2005 I began my career in real estate and have worked with hundreds of buyers and sellers looking for the perfect fit.

I love my work; especially working with clients to downsize, upsize, or relocate. Many of my clients choose to work with me because of my passion for the environment. Being an ACCREDITED GREEN AGENT helps me serve clients that want to know more about energy efficiency in homes. I am also certified as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and an Accredited Senior Agent (ASA).

I am active in my community as a volunteer, editing the monthly Eden Mills & District Community Club Newsletter & Website and organizing fundraising events.

Tom & I not only reach award winning sales levels– we give back. We believe everyone deserves a roof over their head, therefore we have chosen to donate monthly to the Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis Center and Covenant House (Toronto). As well, I fund several awards at Acton High School every year (since 2007) including the Conductor’s Award for achievement in Music and two smaller awards for academic achievement in business courses.

My Approach

PERSONAL. People/companies/brands you typically do business with are those that you can connect with at some level. We believe, in the end, people do business with people whose values align. A real estate transaction can be an emotional experience, it helps when you have someone in your corner that can empathize.

PROFESSIONAL. We keep it real. Our clients like doing business with us because we set realistic expectations from the beginning and throughout the process of selling or buying your home. PERFORMANCE. It’s not enough to be likeable and to be honest - we need to know what we’re doing! Our clients who are selling want comfort knowing we actually have the ability to sell their homes expediently and at market value. Our buyers want us to listen closely to their needs so we are showing the most relevant homes that match those needs. Since starting in my real estate career, I have been recognized for my sales achievement and every year since I have worked with determined consistency and dedication to a business I love. After my first year, I have always been in the top 10% within the marketplace.

We also walk our talk by printing on FSC paper; driving hybrid cars and living in an uber-efficient straw-bale home. We owe it to our three daughters, and our wee little granddaughter.
