Experience & Background

My career begins with my grassroots childhood in rural Ontario, tending to a one-hundred-acre parcel of land with my family in Oxford County. Working in agribusiness taught me the importance of trust and integrity in business. Fast forward to my time at the University of Guelph, the obvious choice for a young entrepreneur enamored with the agriculture industry, I became enchanted by the world of real estate. My passion soon became my Major as I transitioned towards a Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate and Housing. One of the only programs in Canada to specialize in real estate, it is considered to be world renowned for producing real estate professionals.

Speaking, presenting, researching and negotiating on a regular basis helped hone my skills and become the Realtor® I am today. From the glamour of Los Angeles, to the grit of New York City I have represented the University and Canada at an international level. Competing in elite real estate competitions against top schools including Cornell, Wharton and Harvard I developed an aptitude for dissecting intricate deals and acquisitions. I soon became interested in how a market functions, leading me to my career in professional valuation of property.

The Appraisal Institute of Canada is where I hold my membership as an accredited Candidate Appraiser. After entering a post graduate education at the University of British Columbia – Sauder School of Business, I have successfully attended the top two real estate programs in the nation. My specialty has been appraising homes for nearly two years. Understanding the market is the greatest tool a Realtor® can have, and one of the best ways to gain that experience is appraisal and valuation.

I believe that my humble beginnings and resilience truly make the difference for my clients. The ability to stand tall and make integral decisions has always been the guiding force behind my business. The people who know me can attest to the strong communication, critical thinking, and negotiating skills that assist my clients in making the toughest financial decision they will likely ever face.

Working closely with my colleague Stephen Fried we have crafted a comprehensive strategy to take the ambiguity out of the real estate transaction. The method is simple, we hold ourselves accountable for the outcome and treat every deal with the utmost concern for our client’s interest.
