Find your bliss in Beaverdale.

Beaverdale is a charming neighbourhood that offers the best of both worlds - the peaceful and serene countryside living with the convenience of being just a stone's throw away from all of the action in Cambridge. This picturesque neighbourhood boasts large lots, rolling hills, and stunning views, providing residents with ample space to sprawl and reconnect with nature.

For many years the residential area of the neighbourhood comprised mainly of single-family homes - mostly older properties with charming and unique architectural features. These homes are set back from the street, on spacious lots, offering a sense of privacy and seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the city. In recent years though, this neighbourhood has seen a ton of new development. You’ll now find a mix of large, modern single-family homes and townhomes, providing more opportunities for families to enter the community. This part of the neighbourhood has a more suburban feel compared to the original homes in the area.

One of the standout features of the Beaverdale neighbourhood is its close proximity to the Speed River, which offers residents access to a range of water activities such as kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. The riverfront also boasts a beautiful walking trail that is popular with both locals and tourists.

Public school children living in the area will attend either Hillcrest or Preston for grades JK-6 or Silverheights for grades JK-8. They will then move on to either Jacob Hespeler or Preston for high school. Catholic school children will attend St. Gabriel for grades JK-8 before moving on to St. Benedict for high school.

Beaverdale is a tranquil and inviting community that offers its residents a unique combination of small-town charm and modern conveniences. Its proximity to the Speed River and natural surroundings makes it a popular destination for those who love the outdoors, while its family-friendly atmosphere makes it an ideal place to raise a family.
