These communities are not only a commuter's dream, but the perfect spot to raise your family.

Perfectly located in prime south Guelph these 2 communities share not only a boundary but a unique concept of common element condominium living. This newer concept has created 2 stunningly maintained neighbourhoods that not only look good but are thoughtfully executed and affordable. Short walk to every amenity you could think of including grocery, shopping, schools, parks, banking, coffee, movies, and restaurants plus only minutes to the 401. These communities are not only a commuter's dream, but the perfect spot to raise your family.

Pine Ridge was started in the early 1990s and with its detached and townhome properties close to Gordon Rd. As the community expanded it moved further back towards Victoria and Arkell Roads increasing the size of its homes to accommodate some very large and prestigious cul-de-sacs and court settings. Several years later came Westminster Woods, the adjoining community. This 200-acre parcel was designed as a master-planned community, and it shows. From the clock tower to the perfectly maintained walking trails, this community radiates careful planning and execution. Comprised of townhomes, mid-rise condos, smaller detached and large 60’ conservation lots Westminster Woods really does have it all.

Although primarily built out by two different homebuilders, what once was a noticeable divide between the two subdivisions has long since disappeared. The common connection is the many kilometres of green space pathways, equally popular with bikers, joggers, walkers and their dogs.

Convenience is the name of the game, with an abundance of new amenities surrounding the mixed density housing options. Grocery, restaurants, theatres, banking and a complete assortment of dining options are now available. From a library to a liquor store, a complete slate of shopping services is a short stroll away.

The true heartbeat of these two communities is their primary schools. Mini-vans and school busses fill the parking lots every school day and empty their cargo of kids into the schoolyards. After school, the younger generations pour into the surrounding playgrounds and parks.

Public school children will attend either Sir Isaac Brock PS or Westminster Woods PS before moving on to Centennial CVI for highschool. Catholic school children will attend St. Ignatius of Loyola or St. Paul for their primary education before heading to Bishop Macdonell for highschool.

With safe, walkable streets and sidewalks, some families feel like they have found their little slice of heaven in South Guelph. Tough to disagree.
