Typically viewed as an ideal family area centred around a popular public elementary school, Rickson Ridge PS, proximity to a growing list of amenities has further heightened the attractiveness to younger buyers. With views over conservation lands from many back decks, plenty of families are choosing to dig deep roots here. The neighbourhood also has a number of condominium complexes that have surged in popularity with investment buyers over the past decade.

Large detached homes and family-oriented townhomes tend to be some of the fastest-moving properties in the city. Year after year, values have continued to rise with percentage increases unseen elsewhere in our market. Construction styles of the 1990’s with smaller footprints and larger open-concept designs of the 2000’s have both proven to be sought-after resale purchases. These complexes are often considered the number one location for parent investors looking for a quiet, safe and handy location for their child attending post secondary in Guelph. These complexes are fairly well contained and tend to offer very little burden on the surrounding family-oriented streets.

Primary school children will attend either Rickson Ridge PS or St. Michael before moving on to Centennial CVI or Bishop Macdonell for highschool.
