As a lifelong resident of Guelph and its surrounding area, I have a deep appreciation for the vibrant community and culture within it.
I started my first career working for my parent’s transportation and warehousing company managing customer products and driving a forklift on the dock. It wasn't long before my responsibilities grew and I moved into the office to manage the trucking side of the business. Eventually, I was in charge of the day-to-day operations dealing with all things such as sales and customer relations, fleet maintenance, pricing, scheduling, planning and advancing the company along with the growing trends in technology and the industry.
In 2006, I was introduced to the idea of owning and managing real estate by my father when a "sweetheart of a deal" came along from a friend wishing to sell an income property. My family and I went to check it out and decided to invest in it as partners.
Over time, I realized owning and managing properties not only made fantastic sense for me, but that I also TRULY enjoyed doing it. Making ads, meeting people, taking pride in providing them a lovely home in which to live and learning about mechanical and structural trades throughout various renovation and construction projects, all the while still being able to work full-time for my parents and build equity and additional cash flow on the side.
After managing that company for many years, I decided it was time to pursue another career in something that I'd grown to truly love and admire - real estate!
